Ben Blair didn’t quite seem to have his best stuff in tonight’s win, but it was still a very good line. Eli Pillsbury didn’t have his best stuff either, but he got shelled.

Not #2, and I don’t think Trump can do that with an EO. It will be in the courts on 8/1. That was the rule before several states and I think the federal government sued the NCAA over it. It was settled through court, so legislation by the federal government is all that can change it.

The NCAA could have easily done this! But we all know they are spineless

So the scorer last night gave an error on this play, and then Nick Pierce said it was changed to a double for Tanner Marsh. It was later scored an error again. But Mr. Scorekeeper, if you are going to take away a hit and make the runs unearned, at least get the fielder correct.

A big factor in the jump so far is The Citadel moving from Quad 2 at RPI 61 to Quad 1 at 53. Still early to be worrying about RPI because there are a lot of big games that need to be won. So, just win, baby.

Wow, Liberty's RPI jumped to 35 with the victory over WKU on the road. We will see where it lands tomorrow morning after all of today's games are over, but there's a good chance it ends up sub-40. With Ben Blair and Bradley Zayac on deck, a sweep is possible (probable?) The RPI could move into the mid-30s after that.

I’m all for awards, but can you really be pitcher of the year half way through the year?

After the midweek games, @LibertyBaseball looks to be set at RPI 41. The Citadel was at 60 last night after their game against Coastal and dropped to 61 tonight for whatever reason. That, in turn, caused Liberty to lose two Quad 1 wins. One key: just win, and the RPI will take care of itself.

I've seen others take similar photos with the ball in focus while the pitcher is blurry. Tried it myself for the first time last weekend, and got this one of Ben Blair. I may try it again later from a different angle.
