A Glasgow charity that helps women suffering through gender-based violence and alcohol problems has warned it may need to close its Women's Service. Murray's Initiative say they need to raise £60,000 to stop it shutting, as early as next month. They fear the service is needed more now after domestic abuse and rapes surged more than 40% in a year in Glasgow, while sexual assault is up 28%. Don't be deliberately silly, Sharia is used within these communities, in place of English law. Without outsiders really knowing about it in detail. These sharia courts are a bit more casual and community based without the administration of the law of the land! Big and growing problem! With great respect, look harder.

I spent 40 years practising law. In all that time I never encountered a single case in which so-called Sharia ‘law’ overrode or came into conflict with English law. No one ever suggested it had or it could. How did Cleese become this stupid?
