@hopbeard @Beervana Not to justify lack of quality (don't think there is any excuse for it), but in our current market it's hard to focus on consistentcy and quality when customers are asking for whatever is new, hazy, or flavored.

Question. Breweries like NY’s Other Half and Portland’s Great Notion follow a familiar model (hazies, pastry beers) to enormous commercial success. Why don’t more breweries do this?

@Beervana What’s happening in beer is what happened to coffee 20 years ago. I’m the one guy still drinking various quality black coffees, and everyone else is ordering mochas and frappuccinos and other things that despoil coffee. #nocreamer
