@art_stapleton No. Giants defense was one of the worst in the league and has only become worse. The Giants were middle of the pack in PPG. Only logical thing to go here is to go defense at 5 and if Downs or a CB is there at 10 you take them. Otherwise you go OL or WR. Nothing else makes sense.

DJ has Saints trading up to 3 and taking Reese. Love falls to Giants at 5, and then he has Tate going at 10. Downs goes 12. I don't think Giants will double up on same side of ball, except if second pick is OL.

Lawrence was due $42M cash from the Giants for 2026-27, so he only got a $5M raise over those two years. The Bengals can easily get out of this deal after two years. It really felt like the Giants were going to take Sonny Styles at 5 for a while. But with all the recent noise that they are not interested in him at 5 it leads me to believe one or two things…. It’s smoke or they’re looking to trade down. Even if it’s a spot or two.

@MortChristenson The ACL was 2022. The hamstrings were three years later. If they were right on the heels of each other, I think I'd be more concerned.

There certainly will be debate over Jordyn Tyson's injuries. I am not a doctor, but I pretend to be one at times on social media. His knee injury in 2022 was a long time ago, and he did come back and dominate. A collarbone injury is a fluke. The hamstring issue is what teams/Tyson must deal with, and I don't think the ACL/collarbone is related to the hamstrings. Would imagine the thought is to get Tyson into an NFL team's program and you can help solve his soft tissue issues. The team that drafts him will tell you that.

The Giants protected Dex and went out of their way to not back Carl Banks’ sentiment which was shared by a lot of people who watched. I think there was idea it would spark Dex; it did not, and if that’s why he wanted to leave, you let him go and wish him well.
