As I said, if there are concerns about delays ... it's why the Giants are camping in West Virginia because of the front end of the World Cup. The league might not want headaches if there are delays. There is construction inside the stadium for the World Cup. We'll see.

Bigger question for me is how quickly Giants/Jets/NFL can get MetLife Stadium ready for games post-World Cup. If there are concerns about any delays, will both be on the road preseason, early season?

@DoersDo4Ever I've gotten zero sense that GVR wants to go elsewhere. Could he? Sure. Tennessee has no problem collecting former Giants and paying them well.

Where Giants are now on the interior OL, they need to make a stronger push and convince Greg Van Roten to stay and that he is wanted. What GVR has done last 2 years has been unfairly dismissed - present company included. He should be valued more. That'll leave draft wide open.

@JimViviano Now, I'm not sure the moves they make will absolutely work. But I do think they'll address the positions. Then we will see how their choices work out.

It's pretty obvious where some of the holes are. I'm confident they will address the holes, but they'll likely be much more calculated than being given credit for currently. Harbaugh wants to win. DT is the one spot where I'm not sure they could play a game Sunday. OG-CB, they could.

@JimViviano I could see a trade for DT at some point, too. Not talking a blockbuster, but need-based before training camp.

@JimViviano So far, the Giants have remained a flat cap team with their contracts and have not leaned into void years. Campbell made $5.5M last year at age 39. At the very least, I'd think he would want the same this year. If it's a 1-year deal with no voids, they need to create more space.

I think they'll add in the draft. It's an unpredictable market. I think Calais Campbell would be great to add to this front. His performance last year was stronger than people will realize. Heard Christian Wilkins name back at the Combine, but have not been able to pin anything down on that front.

@MikeDesorbo1 I don't know what GVR is asking for. My opinion: I can't imagine it's too outrageous, but if I was in his position, I wouldn't come back for $1 either. Don't take him for granted. I know I did early in this process and that was a bit unfair after his last 2 years.
