In November 2024, I became a father for the first time. It was the most powerful moment of my life— and also the moment I started worrying about the world my son would inherit. And even though I had reached financial independence through index funds, I found myself asking a hard question: “Will I be able to support my family in the future?” The fear was real. I didn’t want my son growing up in a world that felt worse than the one I grew up in. So I went searching for answers. That’s when I came across the work of Lyn Alden—an investment analyst whose research led me straight into Bitcoin. I learned that the first crypto currency isn’t just a speculative asset. It’s sound money built on a decentralized protocol. It’s finite. It’s neutral. And no government or institution can manipulate it. In plain English: It’s better money. And it gives people hope. And on top of that, it’s one of the best investment opportunities in history. I got hooked. I “went down the Bitcoin rabbit hole” as they say. I read, studied, and eventually reallocated my time, energy, and capital toward Bitcoin. Today, I’m a Bitcoiner. I’m building a local Bitcoin community in Central Florida. And I help people on the financial independence path understand how Bitcoin can fit into their long-term plan. Bitcoin won’t fix everything. But it fixes a lot. And it gave me something I didn’t expect: It turned fear into hope.

Yes, I am absolutely rooting for it! However, I’m not fully convinced Strategy reaches 1M Bitcoin in 2026. They clearly have the firepower to keep accelerating, yet, I think Bitcoin’s price may suddenly move in a way that slows how much ₿ they can actually buy with each new billion. That said, my thesis is rooted entirely in a permanently bullish view on Bitcoin. I’m always operating from the assumption that Bitcoin will be the thing that surprises everyone.😅

There are 41 weeks left in this year. @MicroStrategy only needs to acquire about 5650 Bitcoin per week to reach 1M BTC. Saylor has his eyes locked in on that goal for sure. Could happen by end of summer… Are you rooting for this?

Saylor bought almost double the bitcoin of all ETFs combined last week. Let me say that differently: One man with one company bought more bitcoin than BlackRock, Fidelity, Grayscale, and every other ETF issuer put TOGETHER. $1.57 billion in one week while a war is happening. While oil is above $100. While the Fed decides rates tomorrow. There really is no historical precedent for what Saylor is doing. There is no comparable corporate treasury strategy in the history of finance. He is attempting to accumulate 5% of a mathematically scarce asset while the rest of the market hesitates. Something has clicked and changed bitcoin forever.

Recent lesson I learned: Liquidity should be rented, not owned.

Lots of opinions from smart people on whether Bitcoin is at the bottom. What to do??? I’m splitting the difference. Still DCAing while keeping some dry powder in the back room should we see 50s, or 40s.

I don't typically wade into politics, it's not my thing, but I do think war is something that deserves to be treated with the weight it carries. That's not a partisan statement, it's a human one. I don't believe our founding fathers would have approved of treating war and death like a video game. ❤️

I’m in the middle of a program called Wealth Accelerator, by Mark Moss. I want to build, but there’s this thing I gotta do first. Establish a family trust. It’s boring stuff (for me at least). But, there are two aspects I find interesting: 1. A trust gives your family legal privacy. Something I’ve come to appreciate more after getting into Bitcoin. 2. It’s a way to start thinking and forming this thing called “legacy” from a family perspective. Something that lives beyond you, and carries forward to future generations. I like both of those. It’s like laying a concrete pad for the foundation of a building.
