@Bobmcphail1872 @enclosureloyal It’s really concerning the goal return between the two of them for a Rangers strike force which is ultimately what matters. Chermiti does too much in deep areas which I think impacts his ability to be in the box or surrounding areas at key moments.

I love Naderi and think he's going to get even better for us. Strength, running power, link play, good movement (if you actually watch him), good touch, a team player. Think he'd excel as the point man instead of the deeper role but I think him and Chermiti are a handful for defences - centre halves no longer getting to stroll about against us. Just need to see the goal threat level nudged up and we're cooking.

@bferguson4 @GoodCopBabcock Agree with this. Raskin has been piss poor and needs to be sold in summer. Need more creative/goal scorers from middle and wingers. Think we’ve been asking that for years and never seems to properly materialise

@BigAlTweets @GoodCopBabcock They might not, but I’d like to see what they could do with a competent midfield behind them that can actually make things happen. Strikers aren’t blameless but if we go into next season with the same in midfield it won’t change regardless of who’s in the dugout.

Criminal for the money spent on this team the performances they’re turning out week in and out. Let’s hope we hold on for the win.

@Bobmcphail1872 @Hughesy80C How much in wages and another signing on fee will Butland be? Rumours he’s our highest paid player. I’d suspect more than Pierce Charles. But 💯 in todays market be tough to get an all rounder at our price point.

I see most on this topic are for not extending, mostly because he's not consistently brilliant playing out from the back, rather than cos he's a poor keeper. My fear is that the market we will be operating in for a replacement will mean that you will be unlikely to get the all rounder we crave and so for me letting Butland go is a big gamble and I'd probably prefer to see funding other areas of the squad prioritised. If we scored 25 more goals a season as a squad would Butland's erratic distribution matter as much?! Being a Rangers goalie ain't easy and we've seen perfectly decent goalies come and go but not deemed good enough. It's not a position for a youngster either. Butland is a very good keeper and personally I'd maybe temper the enthusiasm to get rid, unless we have a corker of a goalie ready made, affordable, and willing to come, in mind.

Jack Butand says he would 'love' to extend his stay at Ibrox beyond next summer. ⤵️ However, the 33-year-old says no talks with Rangers have taken place at present. @JoshuaBarrieRR rangersreview.co.uk/interviews/259…

@BooChilling @Voyager03 @g__j @MartinSLewis Fee would apply if you move tariff also. Think of it as they’re buying at the current price a years supply of energy for you. You can’t leave penalty free if market gets cheaper as they’ve already committed to buy at the higher price now.

@Voyager03 @g__j @MartinSLewis I’m so confused! I’ve sent them a DM. It sounds like I should grab a fix now but don’t want to be tied in to that because of the exit fees for a year. I’m hoping the fees don’t apply if you move tariff and only apply if you leave octopus.

Lots of people messaging me saying octopus has added early exit fees to their fixes. Yes that seems to be a policy change. It's fixes were never that competitive compared to open market, but that (as well as service) was its big sell. It is of course only for new not existing fixes. The market is in turmoil there are very few cheap fixes left so ultimately this may be a defensive move to keep it's fix relatively (definitely not absolutely) lower. To be fair all companies are playing with their now, mostly paltry, offerings. The market is all over the place.

@acailler @g__j It’s a developing political situation where the price of a commodity changes day on day. As he’s said he’s having to adjust to a volatile marketplace to stop them being overally exposed. Would stop asking the same question and disregarding the answer you’re getting.

@g__j Greg, going "OH LOOK, OVER THERE IS WORSE" is not the winning argument you think it is. Again, why the jump from free to £50 to £75 per fuel within around five days?

Unlike most co's, Octopus rarely has exit fees. We are introducing now only for *new* fixed tariffs This is because when you buy a fixed tariff now we are buying a year's worth of energy for you, in a very challenging market. Other co's aren't offering fixed tariffs at all. 1/n
Adam Cailler@acailler

Incredibly poor customer service from @OctopusEnergy to put the exit fees up from £0 to £50, then to £75 all in one week for customers looking to switch tariffs. Shameful.
