The piece your missing is how to 100% disable Iran’s Strait blockade. They know they can do it with tiny boats and drones launched from mountains. So now we emboldened them with this strategy. They never attempted before and now it’s like “that was easy”. The nuclear narrative made no sense. Why would they launch a nuclear attack on anyone (remember they would only have fission) when the launch back via fusion would wipe out Tehran.
