I went to his place, and I cooked white rice cos he had some stew in his freezer, brought it out and there was one meat in it. So I told him there’s just one meat left but it’s in your food, I guess I just wanted to see what he’ll do, he ate it all. Everything, and this is someone that comes to my house and I bring out a fresh batch of goat meat in the freezer. Any way, I felt somehow, meat isn’t my problem; I had soup in my own house and I never cook without both meat and fish, it was just the lack of sensibility of it all. So I decided to go to bed, he stayed up and I was awoken around 2am in the morning to him watching Andrew Tate on YouTube on a very very loud volume about masculinity. Till date, any time I remember I dated this person, I recoil to myself, last time I ever looked an Igbo man twice! I didn’t break up, I just stopped taking his calls and responding to his messages, he called and called, his brother called, he even tagged me to a post here and I untangled myself. Tufia!!!

@Movie_Xtra1 I live with epilepsy. I have seizures. When my sons were little, they knew how to call an ambulance if I didn’t wake up after a few minutes. They knew the address, by song. Like a nursery rhyme. They’re grown up now, and I’m obviously still alive lol. 😂

This is why it’s important to teach your child to call emergency numbers for emergencies only and to understand how to do it from a young age

My friend had her baby through a C-section in a teaching hospital and was discharged after a few days. Her mother-in-law had already arrived for omugwo before she got home. The moment she entered the house, her mother-in-law complained that she had been starving and told her to find something for everyone to eat. Still weak from the surgery, my friend quietly went into the kitchen and started cooking. A few minutes later, she suddenly fainted and collapsed. She was rushed back to the hospital and had to be readmitted. When she was eventually discharged, her mother came straight to the hospital and took her away. She spent months recovering with her parents before her husband's family eventually came to apologize.

@araloluwafimida Well older women are part of the problem. Simple hanging out with the girls in the evening, you will be hearing things like ‘ I can never leave my babies to go gist or can’t you wait till you are older’ I found it so annoying.

I just realized that some women genuinely want to explore the world, but they are saddled with the responsibility of raising their kids alone. I’ve received a lot of questions about where I kept my kids while I’m away.

@thecoachchris_ @SageTheProphet People who ain’t parents are not angry at this, they are simply saying they don’t want you. Behaved kids or not, they want to date other childless people.

The only people upset with this are the people who aren't parents yet. Once you become a parent and you put in the work to raise your kids a certain way and you see the bad children and how their parents don't give a damn about them, you understand what I mean. A prime example is how some parents can't even make the time to read with their kids every day. Something as small as 15 to 20 minutes is going to help them drastically. They can scroll on their phones or watch reality TV, but not be active parents. Y'all know a parent just like this
