Not sure how @BBCRadioScot axing shows which platform Scotland’s musicians, including new bands and artists, meets its Public Purpose /Operating License. BBC Charter commits it to supporting creative industries across the UK. It’s Operating License, published here by @Ofcom states (page 24, 4.43) that @BBCRadioScot “must provide content of interest and relevance to audiences in Scotland, including a broad range of content which reflects Scotland’s culture.” Replacing original content with “easy listening” that you get on any commercial station, doesn’t do that. ofcom.org.uk/siteassets/res…
