I don't feel any hostility towards Europeans generally, and most of my life Americans regarded them with friendliness and respect. What's happening right now is that Americans are watching Europe consistently drop the ball on their own energy and territorial security because they have so long depended on the American security umbrella. European governments compete with each other to produce the most restrictive environmental policies and shave their militaries down to nothing, then complain about American military expeditions. European leaders are all sitting at the kids' table telling the adults what to do.
