@BoomRazzle It's super funny because I can't even name 5 extraction shooters. It's actually the least saturated genre. Would they prefer another hero arena shooter or battle royale??

Extraction Shooter hate is so bizarre to me, it has to be collateral damage from the absolute Battle Royale mania that happened around Covid.

This game is genuinely so sick aesthetically but then you see gameplay and it's literally apex raiders of duty chug and running to chug jug shields behind a corner every time you see an enemy player. I wish it was literally anything else except extraction shooter number fifteen

I swear if they released Highguard the moment it was announced at the game awards and chose the story trailer instead of the gameplay trailer it would have been better received

@Shaded_Rav That’s gonna hurt their sales 😭 it came out in July, led by an ex-Blizzard CEO and was really polished. But they refused to market and go free to play so here we are. They paid Shroud to play it for a day and hosted a Twitch rivals, that’s about it

@JJosFPS That’s a good point, it was a very “play for the fun of it” experience. No ranked, few rewards.

@BoomRazzle I only did the play test for this so I never got to experience the full game, but from what I remember there just wasn’t much to grind for outside the gameplay loop. Play test aside though, the gunplay was super fun

@BoomRazzle brother bring a nade, they r so cheap to craft, even impacts work. While i do share your sentiment about first person and personally it would be the perfect replacement for The Cycle; Frontier (RIP). Im still on the fence about third person myself, ppl r cringe for sure.
