Fun part of going from journalism to comms is working out how to address influencers in emails. As a journo, I dealt with people with real names. But if I'm contacting Streamy Streamerson, do I call them Streamy? Streamerson? Mr/Mrs/Ms Streamerson? Do I use their full handle? 😵‍💫

@James_Batchelor I get Jace, Jace Varlet, Jem, Jembawls - and I don’t bat an eyelid at any of these, they’re all the same to me. I just read the email.

@James_Batchelor Using full handle or variation, or real name (if public/common knowledge) is fine. I doubt any streamer will ever care which you use because they’re referred to by every version of their known names all day every day, and are likely more interested in the substance of your mail.
