Hello 𝗗𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗙𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝘀, I started trading personally 𝗶𝗻 𝟭𝟵𝟵𝟵 — later spent five years in private equity, then became a proprietary trader within a fund, before founding Finance Tutoring, where I’ve been training professionals in markets and quantitative finance. 𝗢𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗲𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀, I’ve been developing a systematized discretionary framework on U.S. nano, micro, and mid-cap equities — long-only, unleveraged, and executed exclusively at the Market-On-Close. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗽𝗵𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗴𝗮𝗻 𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱, on a real Interactive Brokers account. For now, the results show that the real and the backtest are starting to align structurally, which is encouraging — but these ratios remain 𝗽𝘂𝗿𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀 at this stage. My goal isn’t to present a finished product or to raise capital — I simply want to 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗻 𝗮 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 with institutional professionals who might help me assess whether such a behavioral, risk-adjusted framework could eventually fit within an institutional logic in 1–2 years.
