I initially started this to follow spurs news as my old X was full of shite. Since then, ive got into investing. Still learning, made some silly decisions early on, made some good ones early on. But getting there, 3 months in. Want to get involved with more of the community!

Sold my position in palantir today. Cant lie, it was one of my first buys based off of well, nothing 🤣 Thankfully I tend to be a cautious character when putting my money into things so I it was a small loss but its a lesson learnt. Dont buy things because people online say its good..

@KieranT1000 I invested in crypto once about ten years ago with £500 and lost £300 of it just because I didnt want to miss the hype but I never understood it. Its basically investing in something based off hype. Nothings tied to it, its just worth something because people say it is 🤣

I used to think other people's gains were a verdict on my own decisions. They're not. They're just a different person, different risk, different timeline. The only chart that actually matters to me now is mine, against itself, over time.

@alecscrypto1 Yeah I will hold onto them for a bit longer, my average price isnt actually too bad on any of then really so it wont take too much to see some green (moreso on meta). At some stage I will rotate out of one of them to use the money elsewhere but not rushing as yet!

@alecscrypto1 Mate, I do as well as amazon!! Doing my head in. I bought them when I first started investing to not go gun ho on silly picks and dip ny feet in and well, theyve just not done anything for the most part 😂
