I do not recall seeing an upper low post up near Hudson Bay for almost 2 straight weeks like what is currently setting up in a long time! Pumping cold air south into the ever steady southeast ridge. Could bring some heavy snows here in Minneapolis next week!

If you are interested in learning more about the Cherokee Freedmen, there are lots of great resources out there. okhistory.org/learn/freedmen I’m still learning about this part of my family. And I’d love to hear from others who also share this heritage.

I was told growing up that we “have Cherokee” in the Williams family. I didn’t learn until much later that we’re descended from people enslaved by the Cherokee who themselves were driven from their ancestral land by the US govt and forced west to the state now known as Oklahoma.

Under the terms of the plea agreement, Kueng will plead guilty to aiding and abetting second-degree manslaughter. In exchange, the charge against him of aiding and abetting second-degree murder will be dropped.
