A psychologist recently explained something interesting why 90s kids developed different thinking patterns than Gen Z, largely because of games. Back then, no autosaves, no hints, just three lives. Games like Super Mario Bros. and Prince of Persia taught: fail, restart, keep going you had to earn progress. Games like Tetris and The Legend of Zelda trained maps and patterns, building memory, navigation, and patience. Finish a level turn off the console. No infinite dopamine. Play was social: one couch, one screen, real conflict and cooperation. Today, games like Fortnite and Roblox are endless, with autosaves and reward systems that keep you playing. They hold attention but don’t train completion the same way. The difference is simple: 90s kids built focus and tolerance for failure, while today’s players are shaped by constant stimulation. What do you think about this?

So Muslims can just take over/destroy the country with Islam and we can't do anything because of religious freedom. There must be some way to stop this insanity.

I don’t know how others don’t see this. I have to watch it every day. I have to see others online and in person degenerate before my own eyes. I watch the news where it’s obvious. I can feel the degeneration in my own body and I can feel it in my psyche. I can read it in what people write. I am forced to remember and compare the world before. Every time something gets worse I feel vivid memories of the world 15 years ago or something I read or saw in a movie. Why doesn’t this happen to other people

Look around you. Every single variable of mouse utopia has already happened besides the final break. It colors every single conversation and every single social institution on some level. There is nothing to look at in our society that doesn’t already reflect mouse utopia. Saying anything otherwise is willful blindness at best

@BGatesIsaPyscho But they weren't ancestors of victims of slavery in the U.S., so how come they act like this?

@whatifalthist I noticed this back in the late 90s, but I was lucky enough to learn to read early and was a history buff. I realized they replaced history with social studies for a dark reason - not to spoil the ending.

This is why I relentlessly shit on our era of history. I’ve read hundreds of books from the early 20th and 19th centuries, including stuff going back to the ancient world and it becomes impossible to not be disgusted at the disjoint. We’ve degenerated so much in everything that makes us human. It becomes being stark once you assimilate the assumptions the older society had and then start comparing them to ours.

One of my favorite things lately is that if you read medieval political science they will have lengthy segments about how the king requires a “lordly bearing” and “noble countenance.” Which is the medieval way of saying “does he give off chad vibes.” If a king lack these will he will not have the manly vigor to hold the nation together. The idea in medieval society was that the king should be so innately manly that it’s just widely understood he can protect the nation from attackers.

@iamyesyouareno Take the lowest IQ population. Have the least intelligent among them be enslaved and sold off. Their descendants are then bred to be farm animals, strong but dumb. Now add crack and subculture that demonizes intelligence.

@iamyesyouareno Any child not held accountable for their behavior will push back until they find the limit. Combine this with society telling people they are victims and you have a complex problem. Children will use any means to manipulate.
