@T3Bracketology Hard to mandate scheduling. Schools have certain scheduling matrix to maximize revenue and TV contracts also have to be honored. NCAA has said the best non-auto teams will get at-large bids, regardless of teams in a conference. Transfers, free if your coach leaves. #Stockpile

The problem with NCAAT expansion talks is that this tournament is NOT a problem with CBB. Non conference scheduling, selection process, 4 schools in 4 years, professional player eligibility, etc. are all issues that ACTUALLY need a resolution.

Wonderful stuff, here, from the #CBS Sunday afternoon Game-of-the-Week on Mar. 10, 1968. Begins with a great, ice-level view of #Chicago Stadium and ends with Johnny Bower stoning the #Blackhawks. It was an emotional week for hockey in #Toronto after the #Leafs traded Frank Mahovlich to #Detroit. The previous night, Mahovlich had returned to the Gardens with the #RedWings. The Big M, almost predictably, opened the scoring on a breakaway, beating Bruce Gamble with a backhand deke. After falling behind, 4-0, the Leafs rallied for a wild, 7-5 win. Dad took me to the game; I had turned nine the previous month. Mike Walton scored on a third-period penalty shot. The next afternoon, in Chicago, he took another penalty shot, but was stopped by Jack Norris. #LeafsForever

@madeformarch Spanarkel is a pro. Always a good listen. But Spero is a walking cliche. How many times can he wedge the term "go dancing" or "punch their ticket" into every 2-hour broadcast?

Andrew Catalon and Steve Lappas getting a S16/E8 assignment over Spero Dedes and Jim Spanarkel is absolutely mind-blowing. Dedes and Spanarkel are so damn solid as a duo.
