@TLRailUK Just out of interest, with the numerous times this has happened over the last few weeks, why is it always only Brighton to Cambridge trains cancelled but all others can run? Genuinely asking.

@TLRailUK As I put in my original post, London Bridge to Hitchin. I travel every day so can work out what I need to do, just don’t understand why none of the St Albans trains are cancelled?

@Bridgechris69 Hi there, we had trespassers on the railway which blocked the line through St Pancras. Please can you tell me where you are travelling from? ^Kieran

@TLRailUK this is ridiculous that I have to wait nearly an hour to get a train from London Bridge to Hitchin! 2 cancelled when not on that route.

@TLRailUK Luke, as a commuter of 25 years I can work out the planning, thanks for the offer though. My point is that when half the trains are cancelled it is wrong to then cancel some stops to make up 5 mins. If you didn’t cancel, you wouldn’t need to reinstate. It happens every time.

@Bridgechris69 Hi Christopher, do you need some advice with journey planning in light on the disruption? When a service is cancelled there will be a legitimate operational reason for doing so and so reinstation is not possible on the whole. Thank you, ^Luke

@TLRailUK seriously! 16.31 London Bridge to Hitchin, waiting, waiting, now cancelled from Stevenage despite all the Cambridge trains being cancelled! Reinstate!!

@TLRailUK I’m guessing you have given up on this thread. There is still no indication on when they are stopping nor why the Cambridge line is affected.

@TLRailUK But they are not calling there on the Cambridge line either. This is not mentioned in the link.

@TLRailUK are there any trains calling at Hitchin from London?

@Eurostar hi, my daughter has a train booked from Amsterdam to London on 17 December at 16.40. It looks like there are problems, what are her options?

@TLRailUK Are your service planners up to date? Will the 16.57 London Kings Cross to Hitchin run?

Service Update ... A limited service is now able to run between Moorgate and Stevenage (via Hertford North) If you are travelling from London towards Stevenage, this would be the best option to complete your journey. But keep in mind, there is currently NO onwards northbound travel from Stevenage whilst we await replacement buses to arrive.

It is with great sadness that we report a person has been hit by a train at Stevenage. All lines are blocked between these stations whilst the emergency services work to deal with this incident. Service information will follow.

@TLRailUK It says on your app it’s cancelled at Cambridge due to shortage of train crew. Whatever it is you might want to update all the passengers waiting as there is no news or announcements.

@Bridgechris69 Hi there, I am sorry to say this train is being delayed owing to a problem in the depot. You may be better off taking the 06.41 service to Horsham. ^Kieran

@TLRailUK any news on the 6.26 Hitchin to Farringdon? Just says delayed. No further announcements.

@TLRailUK hi, just realised that last month I had 2 season tickets for roughly the same period! I obviously only used one, is there anything I can do? Thanks

@TLRailUK One was 31/03/25 to 30/04/25, the other was 07/04/25 to 06/05/25. I currently have one 07/05/25 to 06/06/25.
