You won’t find the word ‘masturbation’ in your Bible’s index, but you can know it’s wrong based on principles in God’s Word.

@NancyGuth3 Oof this happened to me recently when thinking through the verse where Jesus says he won’t leave us as orphans. So humbling lol.

@iBelieveNowWhat @CTmagazine Literally all of these were said to me, actually.
English

@CTmagazine @BritLeeAllen I don’t know anyone who says stuff like that. Do you just create straw-men to make arguments?

“At least you can get pregnant.” “You’ll have another baby.” “At least it was early.”
How did we as evangelical Christians, with our predominantly pro-life stance, overlook the way our words undervalue babies lost through miscarriage? asks @BritLeeAllen. christianitytoday.com/2025/08/pregna…

“Though most Christians uphold the sanctity of life, many of us still speak of babies lost to miscarriage as if they were almost babies,” writes @BritLeeAllen.
“But God does not view them this way.”

@sometimesalight That is so freeing. I think no matter how much we savor each season, we will wish we’d savored it more. I don’t think it’s possible to look back and be perfectly satisfied by the amount of time we spent with our children. Because it isn’t supposed to satisfy us.
English

I am begging you: Do not try to optimize parenting.
It doesn't end at 18 & our children's lives aren't currency.
Be wise w/ time but don't parent w/ a scarcity mindset.
You'll just exhaust yourselves & your children.
This is a relationship not a project w/ a deadline.

You get 18 summers. Then they're visiting. You get 940 weekends. Then they have their own. You get 6,570 bedtimes. Then silence. Time is the only real currency of parenthood. Spend it wisely. You can't earn more.

Lost Gifts is out today!🎉
I genuinely didn’t believe I’d ever get to write this book and here we are. God is so kind! May God use it to draw near to all who read it. What a gift it is to be used in a small way by a mighty God.🤯

This is one symptom of a heart that longs, a heart that is sick with grief, a heart where waiting feels endless. Continue reading: buff.ly/frUzKaX @BritLeeAllen

Lament helps us know where to go when the heartbeat can’t be found, when the pregnancy symptoms vanish, or when one miscarriage turns into two, then three, and then four.

She listened intently, tears lining her lashes like tiny soldiers coming to my aid, coming to fight this war alongside me. When my words fell silent, she opened her own mouth. @BritLeeAllen Continue reading: buff.ly/OFfv6Fs
