This proposal was driven almost entirely by people in my group who were not me. Truly, I could not be more proud of them.

And let's not even go the issues beyond #ScienceTwitter... The only Q at this point is to look for alternatives or stop altogether?

Then there is also the whole issue of delivering content for free and still being flooded by ads. Or even paying for Twitter Blue. It's sad that scientist rely so much on self-marketing that we have to endure this. But maybe publishing + reviewing trained us well for this.

3rd party apps was the way to tune out the frenzy on @twitter and engage purposefully with #ScienceTwitter. Now that @twitter blocked all apps, I'm finally giving up too. It's sad that @elonmusk is wasting his talent, time and resources this way.

@YSPTSPS $$$ is an issue, but otherwise perfect habit-forming machine to get into shape b/c so beautiful, easy to ride (lightweight + Di2!), and motivating (you don’t want to be the slow one on this machine).
