I’ve seen graduates of economics and computer science that are as smart as any engineering graduate. Over the last decade and a half. There is also this thing of government trying to add one more year to the engineering curriculum for “industrial training”. Engineering in Nigeria is already an unnecessary five years. Not good to waste your time studying outdated theories that aren’t directly applicable anywhere.

Engineering, Chief? Wow. 😂😂 My foster Dad is an electronic engineer. So he motivated my younger brother to also study electrical engineering. So recently, one of our cousins started staying with us. Completed secondary school, and will be writing JAMB this year. He wanted to do electrical engineering. Our father, of all persons, called him to discourage him from studying engineering especially that electrical engineering that things are not like before. I actually agreed with Dad, and my opinion is that he should consider civil engineering if he insist. But direct advice, I told him to do computer science. And that's what he registered for. I don't think engineering is as lucrative or the opportunity is there compared to the older years. I want to believe you're also opting for civil engineering.

I didn't study finance. I studied economics. Your second question: Engineering.

Mephibosheth. He was the son of Jonathan and grandson of King Saul. When news came that Saul and Jonathan had died, his nurse fled with him in fear but in the process, he fell and became crippled in both feet. Years later, when King David became king, he asked if there was anyone left from Saul’s family he could show kindness to, for Jonathan’s sake. Mephibosheth, now living in obscurity and likely expecting rejection or even punishment, was brought before David. Instead of harm, David restored all his grandfather’s land to him and gave him a permanent seat at the king’s table, treating him like family. Why this hits differently today: - Grace over merit: Mephibosheth didn’t earn that kindness. It shows that sometimes, favor comes not because of what you’ve done, but because of connections, promises, or grace beyond you. - Your past doesn’t disqualify you: He went from forgotten and disabled to sitting among royalty. Where you are now isn’t your final position. - Invisible people still matter: He was hidden, overlooked, and probably written off but still remembered and lifted. A lot of people today feel sidelined by background, mistakes, or limitations. This story should remind you that one moment, one decision, or one person can completely change your story. Stay ready, even when life feels like you’ve been left behind.

If you are given a chance to meet someone in the Bible, who would it be?

I will reveal something shocking about this pastor that most people do not know. Hear me out. It is not that he was Muslim before, converting to Christianity many people already knew that. It is not that he entered most of these ministries and came out different, no, that is obvious. It is the fact that he did something that takes real divine anointing, real divine calling, and real divine grace and blessings to do. A miracle that has not been witnessed in Nigeria in recent times. This young anointed man of God did something that your billionaire, private jet-flying, politically correct, politically compromised, self-absorbed, arrogant, delusional, lying, cheating, womanising, fence-sitting, 419ers that you call men of God could not do. This young anointed man of God did it, not once or twice or thrice. He spoke directly and powerfully to power. He did not speak in parables or beat around the bush. He spoke directly to the President. He spoke to the Sultan of Sokoto. He spoke to Miyetti. He spoke to the terrorists. He told them hard truths that even if they point a gun ant your daddy GOs head you won't be able to utter He spoke to your cowardly, compromised Daddy GOs and celebrity pastors who dine with the devil at night and make fake prophecies in the morning. "There is someone here today, God said I should tell you, your daughter will pass JAMB this year." Anytime your Daddy GOs or celebrity pastors see this young man, they should kneel down and greet him and ask him to bless them with wisdom and courage to be able to see evil and to speak up against it. He told them clearly, you have built mega churches and followers, but you have failed to protect and defend the flock. Christianity is under attack and you are silent. And that they must all wake up and become true shepherds who defend and protect the flock. He was very respectful to them because he is a pastor. I am not. And I know he is not the only one. There are some others real mean of God, who have been speaking up and taking action too. If you know anyone that I do not know already, comment their names. I said let me share this so you might see how useless those people you call men of God are and also see that there is hope on the horizon. You can go to his page and watch his messages Amen and amen.

Performative activism and follow follow herd mentality. Someone basically “freed” you from jail but you are too cool to defend their integrity especially as it pertains to you when being called to question. Crazy world we live in.
