We’re excited to share some news about this Saturday’s Battle for RDU! We’ve partnered with BuddBuds Esports, who will be taking the lead on tournament operations, streaming, and post-production for our monthly series. This partnership is huge for us, they’re deeply rooted in the Smash community and bring a wealth of experience, having successfully run two majors and countless locals, including BuddBuds Locals every Wednesday at Bad Machines for Smash Ultimate. With their expertise, we can ensure Battle for RDU delivers the highest quality experience for players, viewers, and commentators alike. Want to learn more or inquire about commentary opportunities? With this new partnership also come some schedule adjustments: 🕐 Tekken 8 – 1PM (no change) 🕐 Strive – now 3PM (moved from 2PM) 🕐 Street Fighter 6 – now 5PM (moved from 3PM) 🕐 Smash Ultimate – now 7PM (moved from 5PM) Lastly, we do have a side Mortal Kombat 1 tournament happening at 9PM that is upwards to 30+ people.
