Another run-rule conference victory is in the books ✍️ The Badgers even the series via a five-inning rout at Hodgetown. Freshman Gabe Compton hit a grand slam and a solo home run to join the exclusive multi-homer game club. Colton McClure hit his third homer of the season – a two-run blast. Brayden Gurney secured his fourth consecutive conference victory on the mound with three strikeouts and no earned runs in a complete-game outing.

The key to this arm fake is that Sullivan(Rockies) does not rush & cut it off. He gives the runner at 3B time to bite on the arm fake which creates a bigger window for the catcher to redirect the throw to 3B. I prefer the ball in the throwing hand.

Luis Gonzalez had himself a weekend in New Mexico. The first baseman/catcher from Patillas, Puerto Rico had a career-best outing against the Thunderbirds, hitting a .500 average, 1.000 slugging percentage, and 1.579 OPS – all tied for team-high marks. @lalf2_02 currently ranks third on team in batting average (.359) - minimum 25 ABs - through 31 games.

History Made! The Badgers take down the T-birds. AC earned the 3-1 road series victory - marking the program's first win over NMJC since the reboot of Badger athletics in 2022. The Badgers hit five home runs: Brooks Carter (2), Jatniel McCloud (1), Jaykenn Marrero (1), Cole Giametta (1). Cole Miller picked up the win as the game four closer with four strikeouts and three hits allowed across 3.2 innings.
