This family just got an IKEA kitchen delivered to their new home. It’s 210 packages, and many people say the instructions are almost nonexistent, it’s just diagrams. He’s going to have to unbox every part and arrange it in a way that can be identified so that will help with the frustration, many people who bought this quit out of frustration and tried to return it. Whenever people order kitchen sets like this, should it at least come with better instructions or at least a video, have you ever tried to put something together and the instructions weren’t clear and you ended up messing it up?

@FranciscoSpace5 @BuildFutureTech He doesn’t sound as confident in a 2026 flight as one would maybe hope (a good shot at it), but it does sound like if the debut goes well, launch 2 shall come just a few months later which is fantastic to hear.

@nicolasmelo Wireless power transmission from space. Sounds crazy but it’s already been tested and it’s scalable. Imagine getting power access the same way you get cell service. The world is going to look very different in 10 years.

We recently launched Composer 2, a frontier model with high limits. Then, with cloud, we gave agents their own computers so they can work truly autonomously. And now with Cursor 3, we’re releasing a new interface to collaborate with agents on software. cursor.com/blog/cursor-3

We’re introducing Cursor 3. It is simpler, more powerful, and built for a world where all code is written by agents, while keeping the depth of a development environment.

Pierre Poilievre announces that the Conservatives are against the high speed train project between Toronto and Quebec City, and if in power will cancel it; "I am confirming that a future Conservative government will cancel this $90 billion boondoggle altogether." OK so how are Conservatives planning to build world class infrastructure?

Google is basically saying: “We’ve cut the quantum resources needed to break Bitcoin’s encryption by 20x. We can now break it. We can prove it. We’re just not going to tell you how. We’ve slowed down research to give crypto a chance. You have until 2029 to figure out a solution. Good luck.”
nic carter@nic_carter

Many are wondering "what Google saw" that caused them to revise their post-quantum cryptography transition deadline to 2029 last week. It was this: research.google/blog/safeguard…

How Elon became a rocket engineer: "Diving into SpaceX and Tesla, I had to learn how to make hardware. I'd never seen a CNC machine or laid our carbon fiber. I didn't know any of those things, but if you read books and talk to experts you can pick them up quickly. I started going to the Palo Alto public library to read about rocket engineering and started calling experts, asking to borrow their old engine manuals. Most people self-limit their ability to learn. It's pretty straight forward-just read books and talk to people."

Do you guys start new chats to lower token burn? Or does that not matter because it does that context compression thing every once in a while? Having the same issue trying to figure out how to save tokens. It’s also making boneheaded mistakes this week and I have to redo something that used 50% of my usage.

After 15 min of asking Claude Code Opus 4.6 to continue where it left off. which had hit the limit, 90% of the limit was already used. A few minutes later, it was at 100%. Result: zero tasks completed! This is as bad as it gets. Clearly, the token-eater bug is still not fixed!

$RKLB @Peter_J_Beck
