This is Richard Smith of the South Durham Hunt and he thinks it’s ok to hit a horse over the head. Make this ‘man’ famous. Filmed by North East Hunt Monitors on 08/11/25

@henrywinter Thought Karen Brady was a business genius? Maybe should spend less time writing for The S*n and concentrate on her day job

“We are mired in a relegation battle, on our 4th manager in 18 months and seeing leaks that the forthcoming accounts will show a £100m loss.” Strong statement from #WHUFC Fan Advisory Board urgently seeking answers from board on governance, ticketing etc

Last night at Anfield will stay with me forever - not because of one person's words, but because of how the entire football family stood together.
To my @afcbournemouth teammates who supported me in that moment, to the @LiverpoolFC players and fans who showed their true character, to the @premierleague officials who handled it professionally - thank you. Football showed its best side when it mattered most.
Scoring those two goals felt like speaking the only language that truly matters on the pitch. This is why I play - for moments like these, for my teammates, for everyone who believes in what this beautiful game can be.
The overwhelming messages of support from across the football world remind me why I love this sport. We keep moving forward, together. 🙏🏾⚽

@dsmitheconomics Whilst there is a teacher recruitment and retention crisis, caused by years of pay freezes and below inflation pay rises. Go and speak to any headteacher about how hard it is to recruit Economics teachers amongst many other subjects

@Dobbo761 @therestismoney @ZiaYusufUK @reformparty_uk Yes, who’s going to educate the people he wants to drive the economy? Private schools? He would be probably be up for that as he came from one
English

@therestismoney @ZiaYusufUK @reformparty_uk "dramatically cut public spending...(and)...reduce peoples taxes.."
There is the death of a public funded NHS for you....all the 'contributions' people have made over the years and yet when they're next ill they'll need insurance to pay for treatment
English

We sat down with @ZiaYusufUK from @reformparty_uk to find out what their economic plan for the country is. You do not want to miss this episode.
English

@therestismoney @ZiaYusufUK @reformparty_uk Zia Yusuf of Reform UK is absolutely wrong that only the private sector create wealth in this country. Doesn’t seem to understand who produces the great students and entrepreneurs, it’s not the private. Absolutely no understanding how an economy works.

@JamesPearceLFC Is he going to yank Konate at half time like he did Quansah.

@henrywinter Not close, nailed on. Scandelous decision

That’s surely close to a red. Dangerous. Tarkowski on Mac Allister. #LIVEVE

@PremLeaguePanel Why did England persist with Lewis Skelly inverting into an already crowded clogged up midfield. Was crying out for him to help out Rashford with some ‘dynamic overlaps’. Surprised how clueless Tuchel was on this front
English

Scaloni’s tactical adaptability to hammer Brazil 4-1 with the squad he had available, is insane. No Messi, no dribbling attackers, no real pace up front. So he adapts his tactics to play a narrow 4-1-4-1 - Paredes sitting as the 6 and getting more creative passing threat from Enzo & MacAllister by using them as higher 8s. He placed emphasis on central overloads/combinations with Álvarez also dropping and then got his full-backs & RDP to provide the dynamic overlaps. He then flooded the box to kill Brazil with Enzo & MacA both getting goals with that greater freedom to get in the box. That is proper coaching.

@henrywinter Maybe offshore Jim should move back to the UK and start paying tax, before asking the UK government for handouts

…will generate jobs, new offices etc. Vital after club’s badly-handled redundancies. Clear division required between club providing/raising cash for stadium and state funding for outer area needing regenerating. #MUFC strapped for cash but banks will lend for marquee project 2/2
English

Lot of carping about New Trafford. It’s a magnificent design by the world’s No 1 architect who’s ensuring fans are close to the pitch. It’s a bold statement of a stadium, in an area needing regenerating & will enhance the skyline hugely. It’s unique & will become iconic #MUFC 1/2
