This game has all the key makings of a "first attempt" port to the Switch 2, which it is. This is actually a great sign for future ports on the console when developers attune the Switch 2 to their dev cycles instead of trying to port games that weren't designed for it.

Key takeaway from this Ubisoft interview is that the devs are still working on AC Shadows on Switch 2, and they are looking to add SSR (Screen Space Reflections) to the water and fix frame pacing in a future update. Also, it's using one of the best DLSS variants on Switch 2.
