@SStarckx @mkeulemans @gjcats @_knaw Net terug uit Sydney voor een paleoklimaat conferentie (met vliegtuig).. Dus waarschijnlijk niet. Maar mijn oud-studiegenoot Joep @CO2_CONee geeft daarin bijvoorbeeld wel een heel mooi voorbeeld: van Amsterdam naar Boulder met boos-bus-trein-fiets.

I was thinking of @CO2_CONee when I saw Greta's tweet. As an early-career climate scientist, visiting the conference ‘the International Conference on Palaeoceanography’ in Australia is kind of a big deal. Opted to tack on 5 weeks of travel/holiday to make it worthwile… Hopefully

@GretaThunberg I recently faced the same dilemma. Choose a sailing vessel in the end, although you can also take a freighter, which theoretically has more potential to become sustainable in the near-future. I will show all of my experiences in my upcoming docu:’Carbon dioxide? That’s not right!

The UN summit in september and COP25 in december, it looks like a large part of our future will probably be decided in New York and Santiago. I’ve been invited. And I’ve decided to go. The tricky part is getting there without flying. I haven’t solved that yet.. #ClimateBreakdown

@AsiaReportcom @pshetparool naar Azië reizen. 3. Zorgen dat optie twee mogelijk word binnen onze baan door ons werk op een andere manier in te richten. Lange vakanties worden in het contract opgenomen eens in de 5/10 jaar bijvoorbeeld.
