@j_lew_21 @harkness_sean @coloradowheat Within the next year, we will have it in multiple CSU genetic backgrounds and be able to start testing its efficacy. It is supposed to work in spring wheat at low yield levels, but winter wheat is a different ballgame. It’s not a silver bullet, but 5 bushels is 5 bushels.

@harkness_sean @coloradowheat It probably isn't available in varieties in the US yet. Like wheat it will have to be bread into the germplasm that is already adapted for the area. I am not sure how the world will recieve it, but it seems SA and Australia aren't having issues marketing it so far.

So I get the newsletter from @coloradowheat with an article about the HB4 trait available for wheat. Cool but meh. Article mentions it’s been approved for soybeans since 2019. Any soybean dealers aware of that? Google can’t find anything marketed with it state side.

@StevenDAllison On the one hand, our ability to enhance soil functioning with inoculants is limited because they start drowning in diversity as soon as they hit the ground. But, biologicals can be an important enabler of the practices that build up soil health over time.
