@RoyIsThaTruth All different. Allison was bullied, had a gun held to him the previous day and also tried to get away. Made ever attempt to avoid the fight. KA brought a deady weapon to school, wouldn't leave a private tent, provoked the altercation.

@warDaniel47 It's a teams private tent. Coaches always tell you NOT to go into other teams tents. Its a liability thing especially if something gets stolen.

🚨 WTF?! Rep. Jasmine Crockett just DEFENDED Karmelo Anthony's murder of Austin Metcalf: "He simply didn't want to be put out in the rain by some random kid." "One time, 2 inches. He didn't stab him 5, 6, 7 times..." Q: If Anthony was white? CROCKETT: He wouldn't get a 35-year sentence. I GUARANTEE you. I don't even think he would've been convicted! If a white boy would have said that they were afraid of a black boy. Something tells me that that jury that didn't have any black people on it, they would have believed him!

@queenie4rmnola Here, I fixed your thought process. "In America, black people always think black people are innocent regardless of if evidence states they are guilty."

There are many details the public still doesn’t know that may eventually come to light. Because of the gag order placed on the case shortly after the incident, neither Karmelo’s family nor his supporters and advocates were allowed to speak publicly about many aspects of what happened. Karmelo has epilepsy and suffered a serious head injury in 2024 as a result of an epileptic episode. Just a few weeks before the incident in 2025, he also sustained a shoulder injury that required surgery and was still in the healing process. For someone living with epilepsy and recovering from recent injuries, a physical altercation can pose very serious risks. You can literally die if you get into a fight with epilepsy. Karmelo feared for his safety and believed his life was in danger. when he was confronted by multiple individuals, he acted out of self-preservation and in an effort to protect himself. Those Metcalf boys and others jumped on Karmelo and Collin county trying to hide it. Remember karmelo is 5’8 130lbs n those twins were 6’1 and over 200lbs, Karmelo WILL win his appeal‼️

@ProfWBCarter You clearly don't understand the law, BUT to entertain your idea of having to have BLACK people on the Jury, the Black teachers that were questioned to be on the jury stated they could NOT be IMPARTIAL because he was black.

@ProfWBCarter A jury of peers is the constitutional right, guaranteed by the 6th Amendment of the US Constitution, to have trial by an impartial jury of fellow citizens selected from a fair cross-section of the community where the case is tried. Peers is NOT defined by age, race or background

I have not yet read the full trial transcript. But so far, I do know this. Karmelo Anthony was entitled to a jury of his peers. He did not get that. On that ground alone, he is entitled to a new trial. Minorities are not interchangeable. The prosecutor’s reported proffered reasons for striking all black jurors —that they were teachers—appears to be pretext. Anthony needs a new lawyer on appeal and in a new trial. His trial lawyer allowed in opinion evidence that should have been struck. He also seemed unable to appreciate and counter the impact of racial overtones in that case. Those overtones are clear even on Twitter commentary as folks seek to paint Metcalf as having no culpability in what happened and Karmelo as a complete monster. The facts on how the matter escalated are more complicated than that. He and they had no such authority. They are also apparent in the statements that seek to deputize Metcalf and other kids with authority to remove Anthony. They had none and initiated the conflict. That does not mean they should have been killed but it means they have explaining to do. The lawyer for Anthony apparently did not require that explaining. It is fair to ask how the Anthony’s ended up selecting that lawyer. The trial judge must be disqualified in any new trial if he actually gave an interview about the case before the appeal was considered. He has negatively affected the appeal rights of the defendant. He should know better. He should also be disqualified if he has any relationship with the Metcalf side. In a criminal trial, the prosecution has the burden of proof beyond a reasonable doubt. The defendant does not have to prove he is not guilty. Those rules apply to everyone. They apply to Anthony.

@miamahasinn @Redbarn318 the 21 witnesses that were there stated he didn't get jumped. 6 of these witnesses were BLACK. 1 was a friend of Karmelo. All stated on oath, Karmelo was the aggressor & it was NOT self-defense. Maybe your skin color is too thick to understand the truth?

@miamahasinn Actually......picture was posted and it is in the court transcript. It was a 3.5" folding knife. Use facts straight from court docs before spewing your false racist narratives. Being pushed doesn't warrant the use of a deadly weapon.

Advocates who have seen the video say #KarmeloAnthony was surrounded when he tried to back out the tent he was grabbed by his hoodie and pulled back in. Even after #AustinMetcalf was stabbed, 3 boys tried to chase Karmelo. This was self defense! #BelieveKarmelo

@kackson24 @FBAGoddess444 @tariqnasheed "They" didn't touch him. 1 brother pushed him lightly and also stated he didn't want to fight him at the track meet. A single push doesn't warrant use of a deadly weapon.

@budice32 @TifahCrump777 His life was NEVER in danger. He was pushed. Thats it. In no way does pushing warrant a deadly weapon being pulled out. Self-defense does not and will not work here. He's black and you are black.....for once in you life look beyond skin color.
