My Saturday looked like this:
Quality time listening to Hegewisch locals on Chicago's Southeast side, congratulating Little Leaguers in Bridgeport, joining Senator Lakesia Collins' community block party on the West Side, sitting in on a conversation with tech entrepreneurs and investors at the Lumina House and Drive Capital panel, and ending the night at the Silver Room Block Party at The Salt Shed.
Different rooms in different neighborhoods but it’s all the same mission to me: showing up for all of Chicago.

October 7 didn’t just change Israeli politics. It changed the identity of millions of Jews.

I have no idea how this is even a thing. Mayor Johnson & his comrades will tell you that the ppl who live in this part of this city are oppressed & the neighborhood has been ignored. Today marks a year since my mother passed away. The hardest year of my life undoubtedly. I thought I’d get through it ok until @K_Williamsmedia text me today. Completely lost it and had to get back to daddying. For all the men out there who don’t know how to name/label emotions (I struggle mightily) I beg you to grow in that area. Makes a lot of the things we go through a touch less difficult. Take care of each other. Be safe. And always stay sucka free. 😎
