I’m just acknowledging what Nintendo does and will continue to do with the success this will have. I’m glad there’s a way to avoid scalpers, but that doesn’t mean I can’t have complaints as well

The problem is not a small amount of work to rerelease an older game, it's Nintendo choosing not to allocate more resources

Remasters almost always ruin the original vision of the game, if I wanted the original game with worse art direction and crispy overdone textures I would just get a fan-made texture pack. That's basically what you're paying for when you buy "remasters"

Fighting games will have characters with just normal names like Ken or Terry who are basically normal dudes and try to convince you that’s cooler than a demon ninja in an eternal conquest to avenge his family and has the most iconic phrase in fighting game history “GET OVER HERE”
