Dear Web3 Founder… Yes you. Before you dive into trying to create different strategies to market your products or before you start that new marketing campaign you’re planning with the rest of the team…. Have you taken a moment to actually study the market you’re operating In? Have you tried figuring out…. → What are the things that work in this market? → What are the gaps in the market? → How can my product solve this gap? → What kind of products do they seek in this market? → Who are my competitors? → Who are my predecessors and what did they do? → What kind of people are here and what do they want? The reason why you cannot figure out a marketing plan that works is because you have not taken time to do a proper market research. Marketing becomes much easier when you understand the market you are operating in like the back of your palm 🤍🤝.

There’s a lot of problem here in Web3 (If not why would someone pay $60k/tweet xD) But look, one of the problems I wanna address here is the lack of the ability to incorporate emotions in your product. Web3 has feelings, CT has feelings, Crypto has feelings, How? because behind all these pfps, wallets, accounts, there are humans with actual emotions If a product like Google could add emotion to an ordinary search engine- “Parisian love” campaign back in 2009, (Fig1.0 below) Projects here in Web3 can add emotions to their products, because behind that project is a bunch of humans with emotions, all you have to do is bring out that emotion and you’ll find people that resonate with you- these are people that eventually become your super users In a space with @CAPTA1NSCARLET earlier today, he said.. “If you’re launching a project, what is the actual emotion you can evoke in people, through the product ..and how can you anchor that from the very start of the project ” What can you add to your product that gives people the sense of nostalgia, amusement, awe, excitement or different variety of emotions. Only the projects that understand how to touch emotions will win this cycle (fig 2.0) This is something @Persona_Journey , @finalbosuX @pudgypenguins and more notable projects mastered and this is how they actually get to retain their users and turn them to super users🫶

The future of marketing is cult building. Today, the word "cult" still holds a negative subtext. People think of manipulation, or fanaticism. But put these aside, in a cult you also have a shared belief system. A community that feels chosen. A story people are proud to repeat. That is what the best brands already have. Solana, Bitcoin, Hyperliquid, Bored Apes, Pudgy... these are cults. One day, the word “cult” will be taught in marketing schools across the world and will be used as the highest compliment you can give a brand.

Over the years, @maverick23NFT has been working behind the scenes, hoping on calls, building his brand, and connecting with people, and yes 1:1 conversations.. In his words… “Cerebro 100, which was born from hundreds of hours of 1:1 calls I made with friends, early believers, and power users at one point, I was doing 20 calls a day” It’s not luck , it’s not influencer marketing, it’s not a coincidence… it’s Building consistently. Stop wasting time cause you’re waiting for the right time. It doesn’t exist.🤍 The sad truth is you spend your days waiting for the right time to start, but what you don’t realize is that waiting is the very thing stealing your time. I was going to buy a few books on marketing since this month started, I had written down a list and I was to order it because there’s not a lot of bookshops around me. Suddenly, I realized that the month is halfway, I have not ordered it, because of a couple of reasons that I have (even though they are valid reasons) And it hit me,… I could actually get these books online as E-books; most likely for free/ lesser prices, but I wanted to get hard copies, and immediately I got them from the nearest Ebook Store I had in less than 2minutes. Why am I saying this? Situations may occur where you want to do something, but something is holding you, you’re probably waiting for.. ➝ The right time ➝ The right moment ➝ The right resources/ materials At the same time, look around you, look for alternatives, look for nearest opportunities, the nearest way to improvise.
