@Cal_f_18 @HLTCO In the context of Sundays game. If the ball was in play for more than any other half in any game, then what’s your supposed gripe with our “time wasting”? The ref adds on time to contribute to it being the longest half. It’s not hard to understand

@DarnElJefe @HLTCO I brought it up in which context? How can a referee give a team 35 minutes of ball in play time exactly? Ball in play is dictated by the actual gameplay. City were hardly going to kick the ball out of play when chasing a goal. You're not victims mate. Bizarre to believe otherwise

@Cal_f_18 @HLTCO You brought it up in this context so you can’t now distance yourself from it. Plus the referee did provide a deterrent, he gave you 35mins of ball in play time, longer than any other half of footy this season. So we time wasted because of refs decision AND got punished in the end

@DarnElJefe @HLTCO By no means do I believe the Premier League refs are anywhere near good enough but I'm talking about the overall rules. Feigning injury and exploiting loose rulings shouldn't be a part of the sport. It's not exclusive to Arsenal or this match. There has to be a deterrent.

@HLTCO The bending of the rules, the persistent time wasting and exploiting the continually running clock. The fake injuries. I feel like under Arteta, Arsenal have become incredibly unlikeable as a side and appear to lack any semblance of class once on the pitch.

@HLTCO I was there, I completely agree about the need to adapt to circumstances in order to achieve the best result possible. I can't, however, advocate the behaviour of the team throughout the game. Football is it's own worst enemy due to the complete lack of deterrent for 'dark arts'

@avfcbrummie @HLTCO It's an age old saying but the sport is nothing without the fans. Generally, City have been fair with prices in recent years but they've just utilised the new CL format as an excuse to drastically increase the prices. It's wrong. I hope Villa re-evaluate the situation for you.

Aston Villa’s Champions League ticket prices are an absolute disgrace and should be pushed back on by fans of all clubs across the English game.

@avfcbrummie @HLTCO On the surface, maybe. My issue is the increase %. I paid £22 per match in the group stages last season. It's now £52 a match. Additionally, genuine attending fans shouldn't have to 'stomach' anything imo. We should be rewarded for our loyalty. I feel for the Villa fans mate.
