@maartseg @Prv1Prv11 @DonMonchin That's fine, but you're complaining about an inevitable part of human nature---it won't do you much good! Also, your breasts do look lovely, so I can see why you'd choose that photo in particular (surely there were other photos you could have chosen?).

Si plantas papas no esperes cosechar zanahorias.

@maartseg @Prv1Prv11 @DonMonchin Beyond the obvious truth, there are real studies that show men view women more like objects when they are scantily clad (the brain areas associated with tool use/objects light up), while more modestly dressed women will be seen more empathetically and wholistically. It's obvious.

I’m not sure I’ll ever top 2025 when it comes to wildlife photography. That feeling is such a blessing and a curse at the same time but the unknown is what makes life worth living.

@da_han_kou @fredsoda Villeneuve is not a good director, Timothee Chalamet is a competent but otherwise "not amazing" actor (when compared to the best actors throughout all time). Bladerunner 2049 is legitimately bad, the Dune movies all look like PC "hi-def" wallpapers. Sucks ass, AI movies.

@curious__cactus @avidseries Karma is real, however wandering the process may be. The sort of person you are effects how people treat you, effects your day to day mood, committing evil makes you commit more evil, etc---it's complicated, but it's very real.

I once had a very talented boss who also happened to be an atrocious human. There were four people in the office in particular who hated him. One of them, the head deacon of his church, would tell me, "People like him don't end well." All four of those people are now dead (three died before age 60), but that boss is now in his 80s, rich and seemingly content, playing golf every day, with a new young bride.

Jodie Foster dijo una vez: "No, amigos. No sean tan inocentes. A los que hacen cosas malas no siempre les va mal. A muchos les va a ir bien. Los vas a ver triunfar. Los vas a ver quedarse con la mejor parte de todo. Y ese es el mundo real. Pero si esto les sirve de consuelo, puedo decirles que he visto muchos malvados exitosos... pero nunca en paz."

I'm not talking about attacking anyone. Don't get my point about "weakness" twisted to think I'm calling for violence. I'm talking about self defense (politically, at this point in time) from a hostile religion who's intent is to forcefully convert all humanity, and persecute/execute those who worship God. Opposing Islam is God's will, because he commands us not to worship false idols. youtube.com/shorts/5zT5rEV…

@liberty_kevlar @jayinneveh @1234cti0N @disclosetv By the way, the Crusades were Christians fighting Christians, too, and were generally a reaction to the crumbling eastern empire and parthian empire, that enabled muslim expansion. They weren't wars of "good and evil" unless you're a retarded non-christian.

The crusades are an incredible example of why this is correct. If the Christian West had not been strong enough to stop Islamic conquest, Islam would have pretty much wiped out Christianity. Weakness is not a virtue. "Hippie Jesus" is probably the worst thing that's happened to modern Christianity, because it teaches Christians to be docile and weak.

@liberty_kevlar @0xbaka @jayinneveh @1234cti0N @disclosetv Not a strawman argument, your name is literally "Liberty Kevlar" and you're talking about how Christianity is "too weak". You want Christianity to have the self-preserving narcissism of the Jews and the militancy of Muslims. Reactionary, your politics are too "of this world"

@disclosetv You maliciously edited the clip. Not only was he quoting Will Durant, he said “history shows unfortunately and unhappily” right before the quote. Shame on you.

San Francisco resident Joe Lo, who works near Fisherman’s Wharf and often swings by Pier 39 after clocking out, first noticed a sea lion that seemed noticeably bigger than the rest on Saturday, March 14. “He woke up and swam off and spooked the rest of the sea lions,” Lo told SFGATE. “I’d never seen one that huge before,” he added. “I thought it was an elephant seal.” It turned out to be a Steller sea lion, a larger species that can reach up to 11 feet long and weigh as much as 2,500 pounds — about as heavy as a Toyota Prius. By comparison, a male California sea lion typically tops out around 7.5 feet and 700 pounds. The substantial fellow has since left the area, Pier 39 told SFGATE.

@slop_bucket @jessesingal Except for the fact that he's one of the most likable characters in the movie. Your enjoyment of Sean Penn is not accidental, the point is not "to mock him". It's more sympathetic than you think.

But that was like the entire point of OBAA. They gave their good guys a few flaws and made them a little imperfect but the bad guys were the most over the top caricatures of every stereotype about the right mashed into one grotesque villain. Contrast Sean Penn's character with say Colonel Jessup in a Few Good Men and it's pretty easy to see how over the top and in your face the messaging was

One Battle After Another and Eddington, which were both great (I actually liked Eddington more) broke a lot of internet-melted brains by not winking at the camera and being like "And that's why *that* is the good ideology" thing

@LingoUnbound Amazingly bad understanding of actor's types and range. Sean Penn is the superior character actor and its not that close. Viggo's best character role was Eastern Promises, and he was essentially just a leading man still. Terrible POV

I remember the early early One Battle After Another that supposedly was going to be Joaquin and Viggo Mortensen. Love Penn but Viggo would have made a four course meal of that role
