Digital Foundry was super excited about the DLSS 5 announcement (because it was awesome) so they published a "FIRST LOOK" showing it off and praising it. Then the angry anti-AI mob came for them and ripped them apart and they got bullied into backpedalling. "We should have waited before posting our first round of coverage. We should have waited to see reactions from the audience." Translation: "We should have waited to see what the consensus mob opinion was before we posted our own individual thoughts." This is the reason why games suck these days. The mob bullies people into groupthink. People get so scared of giving their take they wait until the "Consensus approved opinion™️" is formed before they speak. Nobody wants to risk having the first/independent thought and risk being yelled at by the angry mob. It's super unfortunate, and the backpedalling here makes it worse because it signals cowardice and the majority of the mob doesn't care anyways, they'll find a new thing to hate.

@CapFrameX reporting an issue, PMC plugin metrics seem not to work in BF6 on Intel. (both ARL and RPL CPUs, different systems). Zen 5 metrics work fine. Anti-cheat compatibility issues or something else?

@ApexLodestar Reflex is Nv technology. Getting clean external access (what PresentMon does) is not a trivial matter.

I created a "heatmap" kind of charts to better visualize CPU Load, but also other stats around CPU use during a game. It is created from @CapFrameX json bench results, with a js script (coded with Claude) to generate an HTML chart with mouse tooltip displayed over each value of the charts. Do you like it?

@temann90 Can you please share a screenshot of the sensors you can see?

@CapFrameX Ty for your excellent work, for me everything appears, except for the DRAM lat and the DRAM BW, though I am not sure if they are supported on the 285K. Also sometimes the L3 hitrate is stuck at 100% and the app needs restarting so it can properly measure.

@Major_Zeeman What CPU do you use? You should try to disable the real-time protection and then copy-paste it again. When the sensors don't show up, it most likely comes from the Windows Defender.

@CapFrameX The sensors won’t show up in my case and defender doesn’t report blocking anything.😒

@ActonMAL @KriKrix11 That's the downstream from the GPU the CPU. Better enable both PCIe metrics.

@YatoSubs1 It's actually a plugin. Because of WinRing0 issues it's not part of the CapFrameX standard installation.

@CapFrameX CX has an option to monitor L3 cache? Why no one told me about that 😅 This will be useful
