Year 6 had an amazing trip to the London Docklands Museum as part of our global and English studies, exploring the question, "Are All People Free?" The children thoroughly enjoyed the experience and were excited to discover many links to their learning. For #worldbookday2025 we celebrated our love of reading and embraced the theme of empathy and collaboration across the school. Pupils chose outfits to reflect characters who embody these traits and activities throughout the day provoked thoughtful discussions.

Congratulations to our cross country team @CaterhamPrep who ran superbly at the RSM meet. There was more success for Johanna and Benji who won their U11 races and to the girls who won the U11 team competition. Well done to the team on such a great effort on a demanding course!!

Year 4 are fired up after visiting Beddington Energy Recovery Facility, where 347K tons of waste turns into electricity for 70K+ homes yearly! They explored home energy use with VR & were shocked to learn a kettle uses 3K watts! Back at school, the sustainability talks continue!

Reception had brilliant fun learning about bears! They started by enjoying some yummy porridge just like Goldilocks! They headed outdoors on a bear hunt and made maps with Mrs du Plooy. They also got creative with some bear art and finished with some bear yoga. Paw-some fun!

Congratulations to our U11 A rugby team @CaterhamPrep who won every game they played this season. What is even more remarkable is they have won every game they have ever played at Caterham, that is winning every game from Year 3 to Year 6 including tournaments. Well done boys!!

All our U9 boys @CaterhamPrep had a great afternoon of hockey with our friends @copthornesport . Great to get some quality time on their Astro to work on our skills and some match play!!

Truly mind-bending day of philosophy with Jason Buckley aka The Philosophy Man @makethinkingfun From Greek myths to "pet-rich vs. gadget-rich" debates, pupils deep dived big questions & impressed with their confident oracy skills. A huge thank you Jason for an inspiring day!

Congratulations to all our runners @CaterhamPrep who took part in the Oakhyrst Cross Country. Lots of medals were won with Benji P winning his race and the girls winning the combined team event.
