An extraordinary school year at YSE, our London Saturday School concludes this Saturday with a special Family Showcase in Harley Street. Joining with @Rosy_Thompson for a fully staged performance of excerpts from Tchaikovsky’s Sleeping Beauty. We can't wait!

We have just spent a magical week with the staff and students of St Nicholas, Southend with a School of Rock theme! Jo Park, Senior teacher said: "Relationships have developed that I hope will continue back in school. A magical experience this year, just unique!"

In half-term week we celebrated our fantastic partnership with @UKMusicMasters providing a residential for students on their Pathways Programme. It was an incredible week of new quartets, new music creation, a trip to the seaside and meeting new people.

So much fun at our local Jubilee celebration in #Leiston this weekend. The "Great Pro Corda Grand Piano Treasure Hunt" was a huge success with over 100 people taking part! Congratulations to Jan Ogborn, who wins two concert tickets including meal and free drinks!

What an amazing week for our youngest musicians on the Preparatory and YSE half-term courses. Compound time with a difference, choir with 6 contrapuntal melodies, chamber music games in the ruins and of course stunning music making.
