#QpiAI achieves real-time quantum error correction(QEC) on their 64-qubit Kaveri QPU. This is a significant milestone as without QEC, one cannot achieve Fault Tolerant Quantum Computing(FTQC) and without FTQC one cannot achieve quantum supremacy. Even Rigetti and IonQ don't have inhouse QEC platform and unlike state of the art QEC decoders that run on CPUs, GPUs or FPGAs, QpiAI's decoder runs on purpose-built hardware resulting in ultra low latency of 1.5µs.
