A small stretch on the Moinabad Bypass along the under-construction TSPA–Manneguda National Highway. This is going to be the biggest catalyst for Moinabad, Chevella, and the surrounding areas, and I’m already seeing some upward momentum. Work is progressing at a good pace. I faced a major traffic jam while travelling due to the ongoing translocation of banyan trees.

Yeah, there’s definitely some hassle in managing the garden (a regular guy plus a professional gardener every couple of weeks), but for now we do enjoy it. In the long run, it might start to feel like too much. We may end up feeling like people who’ve lived in such houses for years. But apart from the gardener, I don’t think there’s much difference. You’ll still be hiring help, nannies, and drivers anyway.

The secret influence of maintenance in the homes we live in. More and more people are looking for ultra luxury large format apartments after living in villas. Reasons I hear : 1. Maintenance of villas personally is higher. Need maids and gardners. Especially gardeners. Not just cost, seeing plants wither takes an emotional toll. 2. Too many floors are apparently shrinking familial interactions 3. Possibility of automated robotic cleaning is a valid opinion. Thanks @MC_Cyberabad. Good to see a much needed change in Serilingampally Zone. Despite handling one of Hyderabad’s most critical zones covering major IT corridors, the previous officer Hemant Borkkhade was largely invisible, with no responsiveness, no accountability, and no urgency on public issues. It was a disappointing phase for residents. The new Zonal Commissioner already looks proactive, visible on the ground and responsive on X. That’s the kind of leadership this zone needs.

Not sure if @revanth_anumula will live up to the promise, but I really appreciate the proposal to integrate 1,000 RTC buses with the Metro. More than this, we immediately need to add more train sets to the Metro. It is currently overcrowded, especially on the Raidurg stretch, and passenger growth seems to have plateaued. Now that acquisition of metro from L&T is complete, I hope Phase 2 picks up pace now.
