"I don't see why a Tribunal could not have determined that 'we don't think anyone's lying, we just think there was a mishearing'." 🗣️ Caroline Wilson on the fallout from Zak Butters' Tribunal hearing

"Port Adelaide are furious. The AFL are contemptuous of both Zak Butters and of the Port Adelaide Football Club. They continue to say Zak Butters has changed his version of events too many times to be a credible witness." 🗣️ Caroline Wilson on the fallout from Zak Butters' Tribunal hearing

@TonyShaw22 @shanemcinnes Based on what evidence though? If both sides can’t prove their case and disprove the opposing side then surely the case gets dismissed.

@HarfSerious Not really. Basically the AFL is calling Zac and Ollie liars and believing the umpire despite no audio evidence and the only witness backs Butters. Should have just dismissed the case due to lack of evidence on either side

The #Foot v #Butters case was an impossible. But the decision ticks lots of boxes. Zac will be annoyed at not being believed. The $1500 will be covered my the club. No game missed. In 2 weeks no one remembers. Nick gets employer support, convinced he'd been aggrieved. #OTTN

The cost of an AFL appeal for a tribunal decision is $10,000 (refundable in the event of a successful appeal). You would think a Port Adelaide football club desperate to show Zak they are doing everything in their power would pay the cash. They would weigh it up against the cost of the distraction ahead of Saturday's Hawks game but surely this is the issue you die in a ditch over as a club to back your acting skipper

Despite vehemently denying the allegations, Zak Butters has been found guilty of abusive language towards an umpire at Tribunal. Do you agree with Kane Cornes? 🤔 #AFL

@anthonyalesiani @PAFC Surely they appeal. If not then yesterday’s strong statement means nothing. How can you find him guilty when there is no evidence and the only witness backs Butters side

“Shane Warne’s son Jackson believes that “forced” Covid vaccines killed his father at the age of 52. Warne died of the Thai island of Koh Samui in 2022 of a heart attack with a post-mortem confirming that the cricket legend had died of natural causes. However, speaking on the 2 Worlds Collidepodcast Jackson, 26, said he believes that Covid vaccinations had a part to play his father’s death. “I definitely think it was involved and I don’t even think saying that is controversial anymore,” Jackson said. “Even if Dad had underlying health issues, I think this brought it straight to the surface, and that’s one thing I’ve always struggled with, because my first impression (was to) instantly blame the government.” ••••••••••••• The government is to blame. They knew about it because I told them the vaccines were killing people and they ignored me. The only to hold these politicians too account for Covid is to vote the major parties out of government. Sign up to Peoplefirstparty.au today if you want to help put the politicians responsible for Covid vaccine injuries and deaths behind bars.

@peckertime3 @RennickGBR Yes because no one ever died from a heart attack before the covid vaccine 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️. My uncle died at age 54 from a heart attack in 2017. He was a big drinker and had too much fast food ( like Warne )

@betsy_com_au Nah it’s completely fair. No umpire or player or any official should be able to have a job at a betting company while actively working in sports.

@ChefTom1985 @KingGrover1974 @RalphyHeraldSun I get that but because something happened once it automatically means it’s happened again if accused?? Seems a bit harsh tbh without any actual proof, similar to this Butters situation.

@KingGrover1974 @RalphyHeraldSun “2x witnesses” 😂 of course Frankston teammates would stick up for each other.. Its primary school like behaviour with the “he said she said” crap. There’s either direct evidence or none at all? Doesn’t seem much of a fair assessment. 🤷‍♂️

Zak Butters has been referred to the AFL Tribunal for an incident during Sunday's game against St Kilda. The club will defend in the strongest possible way the allegations made against Butters. portadelaidefc.com.au/news/1996038
