Can't believe I'm writing this, but I wonder if this winter well need 'warm banks' the equivalent of 'food banks' where people who can't afford heating are invited to spend their days at no cost with heating (eg libraries, public buildings)?

Hallway- Stairs- Landing before and after pictures. All skirting was replaced. Under the Stairs and pipes were boxed in giving nice sharp lines. Paint is a light grey durable matt. Made the gate to stop large dog getting the best bed at night 🙂 stunning transformation.

Bedroom: before and after pictures. Using a Dulux Durable light Grey paint on walls. Some fixed furniture won't sit flush to the walls leaving a shadow line. Visually it can be unsightly. It's all about the finish!! so it's worth taking 10 mins to get nice clean lines to finish.

Loft Bedroom before and after pictures. Condensation has caused some water damage around Velux window and on walls. This was dried out and treated. Because of the condensation issue Vinyl Matt was used for both Ceiling and Walls for future damp prevention.

Hallway- Stairs and Landing before and after pictures. Preparation on this was second to none. All Woodwork had been stained and Varnished. Finish is absolutely stunning, bringing light into this Hallway has really opened the space.

Silver and Black Geometrical Wallpaper. Had to install picture rail as there was no finish from wall to ceiling. This gave Wallpaper nice sharp clean cut lines.

Following a tweet from yesterday about VC175. Paint additive used to protect against mould growth. This product should be used with caution hence the 3 warning signs on reverse label. Mix with caution, wear the correct protective clothing. Totally safe once paint has dried.

Rental properties I completed yesterday. Black spot mould is everywhere, walls, ceilings and on furniture. I use neat bleach, 2-3 coats of shellac based stain blocker. (Zinsser) Finished with 2 top coats of Emulsion which has been mixed with a VC175 additive for mould protection
