@Jenny_1884 We have a million vacancies how can we have so many unemployed . Not working has become economically preferred to many . Whole benefits system needs an overhaul. Should never be more than the state pension as it seems acceptable that’s what pensioners have to live on

So people on Universal Credit will get reduced rates to play a game of golf & other attractions but the hardworking don’t get the same privileges. Does anyone else think this is not ok?

BREAKING: The UK government just admitted it underestimated AI data center emissions by up to 136,000%. Original estimate was 0.142 million metric tons of CO2 per year. The revised figure is 34 to 123 million metric tons over the next decade. That is equivalent to the carbon emissions produced by 2.7 million people. The government quietly deleted the old estimate and replaced it this week.

🚨UK army could use 'emergency powers' to enforce conscription. The army is certainly too small to train the number of recruits required, thanks to underfunding from successive governments. Also, ECHR rules do not discriminate between male and female. Wouldn't that mean conscription would be forced upon both women and men? Our Armed Forces needs a radical revamp and extra funding, not conscripts!
