okay then can they just GENUINELY disband the scions and have them leave and do other shit. please. i want a different cast and to build up a new group. either focus more on them as a team and add more bonding moments or discard them

I feel like we go through the "A scion should die" argument frequently and my take is killing a character should not just be done just to get an emotional reaction or because you dont know what to do with them currently I think what they did in the 7.X patches was ideal

also, another thing to say about what halmarut said about zenos, he was not scotch free from his violent plans, but he did not “bring the star to the brink of ruin” to fight us. zenos actually was not at all the root cause of the final days. the final days was bought on by the endsinger alone. his hand in having us defeat zodiark was a catalyst, yes. zenos essentially cleared the board to force a confrontation, using the final days as his chaotic backdrop rather than causing them himself. but at the same time, the back drop was us along with the endsinger, untill he came on his own to be our only ally at defeat the end of the universe.
