Credit where it's due: donating over US$2 million worth of vehicles to church leaders is a generous gesture that recognizes people who have dedicated their lives to serving communities and providing spiritual guidance. Many pastors work tirelessly behind the scenes and rarely receive public appreciation. At the same time, it's fair to ask whether the same resources could have also addressed urgent community needs such as schools, clinics, ambulances, youth programs, or support for vulnerable families. Celebrating church leaders and investing directly in struggling communities don't have to be mutually exclusive. But Thanks to Wicknell Chivayo for the gestures.
