@ChilverEric @AngusTaylorMP Australia's fuel excise duty is currently 52.6 cents per litre on petrol and diesel (as of the Feb 2026 indexing). It's a flat federal tax paid by fuel retailers (passed on at the bowser), adjusted twice yearly for inflation in Feb & Aug. Separate from 10% GST.
