TODAY: OVER $450M PLUSTOKEN FUNDS MOVED Plustoken wallets have been connected with dozens of wallets moving $464.7M of ETH in only the past 12 hours. Plustoken was a 2018-19 Ponzi Scheme that scammed investors worldwide for between $2B and $2.9B in cryptocurrency. 789.5K ETH ($191.9M) was moved from a Plustoken wallet and distributed through hundreds of intermediary wallets in June 2020. The ETH moved from Plustoken wallets in mid-2020 is worth $1.9B at today’s prices.

This is an unfortunate announcement that I have to make, but it has come to my attention that someone I previously considered a friend, @AVCrypto_, has been using his acquaintance with @apg_capital to take advantage of his followers. Specifically, he claimed to have access to some of our dealflow and collected money from his friends and acquaintances to invest in fictional deals… but he never invested in any project and simply pocketed the contributions without any intention of distributing tokens in the future. Several victims of this scam reached out to us over the past few weeks. Most of them are med school students for whom a few hundred dollars made a difference… :/ We’ve organized a refund for the amounts they sent, and we're now communicating about this issue to make sure a similar situation doesn’t happen again. I recommend blocking @AVCrypto_, and advise everyone to remain cautious generally, as scammers can unfortunately operate closer than we think. Stay safe out there!!
