1. The Supreme Court can pretend like it didn't strike down Section 2 of the Voting Rights Act, but the result is the same.
Now and in the near future, the GOP is going to be able to racially gerrymander more than a dozen Democratic districts out of existence.

Dems running for Congress and POTUS must run on Supreme Court reform. A law forcing justices into senior status after 18 years, applicable to the current bench would do the trick. That would force Roberts, Alito, and Thomas into senior status, opening three seats to be filled immediately. Biden proposed this idea, and Harris endorsed it, too. Congress would have to pass the law, though, so candidates for Congress should be pushing this as well. Here's more info: abovethelaw.com/2023/07/dont-f…

I’m not interested in complaining about this Supreme Court VRA ruling. I’m interested in action. Republicans will begin a purge of blue seats, so the purge of red seats must begin. Let’s not waste time, blue states. Just draw new maps and show the Republicans what it looks like to use their rules against them. They’ll be begging on all fours for independent redistricting.

The Pod Save America crew, as well as some inside the Bulwark, were designed to become microphones for the fight against Donald Trump. Instead they became profit maximizers who built audiences they themselves couldn’t control. Now, after offering safe harbor to an individual who promotes violence in politics, they’re rightfully being forced to backtrack. I do wonder if the audience they curated will be able to tolerate their 180.
