It was a treat getting to sit down with Rhys for a chat. Thoughtful questions from a great interviewer doing his part to normalise the discussion. 👏 Thanks for making me feel so welcome @TheUFOzzie 👌🏻

Grunter fires another well placed shot. Why not pick up where @SenatorSurfer left off and give the topic the attention that it deserves @senatorbabet instead of using it for clicks.
Grant Lavac@GrantLavac

@senatorbabet Hi @senatorbabet, your sarcasm notwithstanding, the potential national security threats and safety of flights that Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP) pose are real. Why is Australia not taking UAP seriously when our US ally is? Maybe you should ask after watching below:

MESSAGE I wholeheartedly endorse the powerful appeal for peace made by the Holy Father, Pope Leo, during his Palm Sunday Mass. His call for the laying down of arms and the renunciation of violence resonated profoundly with me, as it speaks to the very essence of what all major religions teach. Indeed, whether we look to Christianity, Buddhism, Islam, Hinduism, Judaism or any of the world's great spiritual traditions, the message is fundamentally the same: love, compassion, tolerance, and self-discipline. Violence finds no true home in any of these teachings. History has shown us time and again that violence only begets more violence and is never a lasting foundation for peace. An enduring resolution to conflict, including the ones we see in the Middle East or between Russia and Ukraine, must be rooted in dialogue, diplomacy and mutual respect — approached with the understanding that, at the deepest level, we are all brothers and sisters. I urge for and pray that the violence and conflicts may soon come to an end. DALAI LAMA 31 March 2026

Aliens have not and are not coming to Earth. Not ever. Not now. I've been hearing talk like this since the 1970s. It never ends. Just talk. No aliens. But, please, by all means, produce the aliens & I will believe. But my money is on the bet that it will never happen.

This was JD Vance 6 months ago saying he has access to UFO files but hasn’t even looked at them. Fast forward to today… he still hasn’t, after saying he’s obsessed with the UFO topic. What are we doing?

As some of you know, I co-host a general science podcast called From First Principles (@FFPPod). We recorded a 4-hour crossover episode released yesterday with Curiosity Theory that was mostly supposed to be about science communication more broadly, but at one point the conversation unexpectedly turned into a 40-minute discussion on UAP between me, two astrophysics PhDs, and another major science communicator. This wasn’t a subject I was trying to aggressively press, which is part of why the conversation stood out to me. I was a little surprised by the level of resistance that surfaced even though I wasn’t really forcing the issue, and I think that ended up illustrating in real time just how hard it still is to have a serious discussion about UAP with mainstream science voices. It was recorded back in January, before several recent developments that likely would have changed parts of the discussion. Sharing because I think it captures the core challenge well: the stigma is still strong, the priors are deeply entrenched, and a lot of the discussion still gets filtered through stale talking points delivered with the authority of someone who sounds informed, but hasn’t actually done the deeper work. 0:00 Unexpected turn into UAP 2:23 The national security case 5:18 Whistleblowers, crash retrieval, and Congress 9:00 Why academia is finally looking 12:35 What if the origin isn’t extraterrestrial? 15:31 Oversight, SAPs, and the deep state problem 19:11 Why secrecy would exist 28:09 Physics, evidence, and falsifiability 34:00 Nimitz, declassification, and public data

The UAP disclosure story isn't about little green men. It's about physics that shouldn't be possible — and what it means for energy markets if even a fraction of it is real. 🧵

I want to share a quick update with all of you. Recently, I was involved in a motorcycle accident while avoiding a family of deer. I’m grateful to say that I’m okay and taking the necessary time to recover. It’s been a sobering reminder of how quickly things can change—and how important it is to stay grounded, present, and appreciative of the people around us. I’ve always believed that resilience isn’t just about enduring challenges, but learning from them and moving forward with purpose. This is no different. To everyone who has reached out—thank you. Your support means more than I can adequately express. And to those planning to join me on the upcoming podcast tour: I’m still very much looking forward to seeing you all. We’ve got important conversations ahead, and I intend to be there for them. Stay safe, stay curious, and I’ll see you soon
