REPORT: University of Oklahoma student Samantha Fulnecky says she was given a zero on a gender-identity essay for writing that there are only two genders and citing the Bible. She’s filed a religious-discrimination complaint and a grade appeal. OU has placed the graduate instructor on leave. Fulnecky wrote on her Instagram that OU only acted after facing social-media backlash and never directly addressed her concerns until she filed formal complaints.
